Sightseeing
This was an 18 day trip to China and Tibet to see the total eclipse just on the southern edge of the Gobi Desert. This was something of a trekking trip visiting Shanghai, Beijing, Lhasa, Shigatse, Xian, Jiuquan and Jiayuguan. Including two nights on sleeper trains and several internal flights.
The eclipse was at the end of the trip in the desert area to the north east of Jiuquan.
